Who are we?
Well, that's not a simple question. The answer, however, is simple:
we are a bunch of blokes and sheilas in the Top End of the Northern Territory
in Australia which is dedicated to the preservation of our history and heritage.
That much is simple. It's becomes a little more complicated from there on in.
We have a range of skills (which is just as well, because we need every last one of them)
such as Architecture, Engineering, Heritage, Journalism, History, Cooking, Cleaning,
Woodwork, Metalwork, Metal Fabrication, Fettling, Felling, Photography,
Flood Recovery, Gardening, Grass Cutting and Slashing and so it goes on...

In essence, we are people who want to get on with a job and preserve a fabulous precinct
for the rest of the world to love. Most of us live in Darwin, some 112 km away, but
some of us reside in the picturesque township of Adelaide River (population: 200).
We need all the help we can get, and we have members from all over the world.
If you sound like one of us, we'd love to welcome you aboard.
Why don't you join us?
Like us? Are you a potential Caretaker?

A bunch of us following a management meeting in March 2005.
As you can see, we're only a small group, but we get a helluva lot done!
No, the photograph is not out of date.
Don't be rude; none of us have aged a bit!
